Presenting a sophisticated vintage Buren dress watch, model BU-9002M, likely originating from the 1980s. This timepiece features an elegant square 'tank' style case in a polished gold-tone finish, complete with its cabochon crown intact. It runs on a reliable Swiss Quartz movement. Its standout visual characteristic is the unique cut glass crystal which beautifully facets the light, sitting above a unique patterned champagne dial with simple gold indices. The watch is currently on a gold-tone mesh bracelet with an adjustable clasp, suitable for wrists up to approximately 20cm.
This Buren watch is in remarkable vintage condition, especially considering its age. The unique cut glass crystal appears immaculate, free from significant marks. The gold-tone case and bracelet show minimal signs of wear, retaining their shine well. As a Swiss Quartz watch, it is expected to keep accurate time. Overall, a very well-preserved example.
