This is a fine example of a vintage Seiko Skyliner, reference 6102-8000, dating from 1970. The Skyliner series was known for its elegant and often slim dress watch designs, powered by reliable manual wind movements, and this piece perfectly embodies that classic aesthetic from Seiko's rich history. It features a clean stainless steel case housing a beautiful silver sunburst dial with applied baton indices and slender hands. Inside beats the Seiko 6102 manual wind calibre, a testament to durable Japanese watchmaking.
The watch is presented in great overall vintage condition. The original acrylic crystal is in good condition, clear with minimal signs of age. The silver sunburst dial is also in good condition, maintaining its classic appeal very well, there is some marking (see photos). The stainless steel case is in great shape for its age, showing no major marks and only light signs of careful wear consistent with a watch over 50 years old. The seiko strap is in good condition.
