A 1980 Seiko Dolce 5931-5180, representing the early years of Seiko’s premium quartz dress line. The Dolce range was aimed at the upper end of the Japanese domestic market, combining slim proportions with high-grade materials and precise quartz engineering. This example features a warm champagne dial with applied gold baton markers and a distinctive cushion-shaped case crafted from early tungsten carbide – a material chosen for its exceptional hardness and ability to retain sharp edges over time. Powered by the Seiko 5931 quartz calibre, it reflects the brand’s push for refinement and accuracy at the dawn of the 1980s.
Presented in great overall vintage condition. The crystal is clear, the dial shows some light age-related wear, and the case remains sharp with strong definition. Fitted with a brand new saffiano leather strap to complement the gold tones. Extensively tested and working very well.
