A 1988 Seiko Exceline 1221-5720, from Seiko’s refined women’s dress line (the counterpart to the mens Dolce line) designed for the Japanese domestic market. The Exceline range focused on slim proportions, elegant finishing, and understated luxury. This example features a beautifully textured linen champagne dial with applied gold baton markers, set within a crisp rectangular gold-tone case. Powered by the slim Seiko 1221 quartz calibre, it reflects late-80s Japanese minimalism at its best.
Presented in great overall vintage condition. The crystal is clear with no noticeable marks, the linen dial is clean and well preserved, and the case shows only light signs of age. Fitted with a brand new textured leather strap. Extensively tested and working very well.
