A 1967 Seiko Skyliner 6222-8000 — an early example from Seiko’s slim, manual-wind dress watch era. The Skyliner line is known for its clean proportions and restrained design, and this piece captures that perfectly with its silver sunburst dial, applied baton indices and fine hands set in a simple stainless steel case. Powered by the Seiko 6222 manual wind calibre, it represents durable, no-nonsense Japanese watchmaking from the late 60s. Fitted to a brand new leather strap, it wears as a timeless vintage dress watch.
The watch presents in great overall vintage condition. The original acrylic crystal is clear, the dial remains attractive with some minor marking visible on close inspection, and the stainless steel case shows honest, light wear consistent with over 50 years of age. Fitted with a brand new unworn leather strap. Extensively tested and working very well, keeping good vintage time.
