This fascinating vintage Seiko stopwatch, reference 8A20-0010, dates from December 1976 and represents an early example of Seiko's advanced quartz timing technology. While its timekeeping base is quartz-accurate, these calibres often feature mechanical components for the stopwatch hand movement for a smoother sweep. This model features a high-contrast white dial with clear markings for 1/5th second increments and a 30-minute register sub-dial. The functional black plastic case houses the movement and features dedicated pushers for Start/Stop and Reset functions. It comes complete with its original Seiko-branded lanyard, storage bag, and original box.

The stopwatch is presented in great vintage condition overall. The dial is in great, clean condition. The original acrylic crystal is also in good condition.
