Here is a rare and striking Seiko Scuba 200m diver, reference 7N35-6A40, dating from 2004, affectionately nicknamed the 'Mini Megalodon' by some enthusiasts for its aggressive bezel design. This is a fantastic example of the unique and high-quality dive watches produced for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). It features a robust stainless steel case with a matte finish, a fully functional uni-directional dive bezel with a purple accent, and a secure screwdown crown for its 200m water resistance. The real standout, however, is the captivating textured purple/magenta dial that sparkles in the light, complemented by large luminous hands and markers for excellent legibility. It is powered by a reliable Seiko 7N35 quartz movement.
The watch is presented in great overall condition. The crystal is in great shape with no noticeable marks. The unique purple dial is also in great condition, clean and vibrant. The matte-finished stainless steel case is in great condition, showing only minimal signs of any previous wear. It comes fitted on a good condition, slightly used blue nato strap that matches the tones of the dial. The watch has been tested and is both fully functioning correctly and keeping accurate time.
