Vintage Citizen Quartz 'CQ' - 80s - Gold Tone TV Case - Patina
This is a classic Citizen quartz watch from the 1980s, featuring the 'CQ' (Citizen Quartz Crystron) logo on the dial, a symbol of Citizen's reliable and popular quartz technology from that era. The watch showcases a distinctive gold-tone cushion or 'TV-style' case that perfectly captures the design trends of the period. It has a clean champagne dial with simple applied stick indices and gold-tone hands. Powered by a Japanese quartz movement, this timepiece comes fitted on its original integrated mesh-style bracelet, which features a convenient adjustable sliding clasp for a perfect fit.
The watch is presented in used, vintage condition. The crystal is in great shape, free from any major marks. The champagne dial is also in great, clean condition. The gold-tone plated case and the original bracelet both show a nice, even patina and signs of wear, particularly on the sharp edges, which is consistent with their age and adds to the watch's authentic vintage character. I believe the case is brass but I'm not 100% sure. The watch has been tested and is both fully functioning correctly and keeping accurate time.
