Orient Vintage Mechanical Stopwatch - 1/5 Second

A very cool piece of vintage timing equipment from Orient, featuring the clean instrument-like styling that makes old mechanical stopwatches so appealing. Originally intended as a precision timing tool rather than a wristwatch, these have developed a following among collectors thanks to their highly legible dials and satisfying mechanical operation. The large Arabic numerals, sharply printed minute track, and compact sub-register give it a purposeful design that feels almost Bauhaus-inspired.

This example remains fully functional and has a lovely honest vintage character. Operation is simple: depressing the crown starts the stopwatch, pressing the pusher pauses the timing, and pressing the second pusher resets the hands back to zero in a flyback-style action. The sub-dial records up to 30 minutes, while the main dial measures in 1/5 second increments.
